The stages necessary to develop a high performance-high commitment work system

Strategic Analysis for Competing Globally

will consist of lecture, interactive discussion, and group decision-making activities. In addition, leading learning organization concepts such as the Aflight simulator and the strategic learning cycle are incorporated into the class. The aim of these methods is to:

Develop an analytic framework which includes all aspects of business effectiveness -- finance, marketing, operations, and organizational processes.

Enhance interpersonal skills through group activities and writing skills through an analysis of a business simulation.

Understand the role of ethics and culture on operating activities.

Distinguish the relative value of differing strategic views in a global competitive environment.
